Brief Information :- Naval Ship Repair Yard 2021 Applications are invited from ITI qualified Indian citizen (both male / female) in the various designated trades for enrollment into Naval Ship Repair Yard 2021 training at Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar and Naval Aircraft Yard (Goa), Dabolim, Goa under Apprentices Act , 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. A total of 173 vacancies for Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar 150 vacancies and 23 vacancies for Naval Aircraft Yard (Goa), interested candidates who are all eligible for this recruitment can apply on or before 19 December 2021. The educational qualification of the candidates must be ITI. The detailed eligibility and selection process are given below.

Dockyards are sometimes more associated with maintenance and basing activities than shipyards, which are sometimes associated more with initial construction. The terms are routinely used interchangeably, in part because the evolution of dockyards and shipyards has often caused them to change or merge roles.

Qualification :-
• Educational Qualification: Candidates who have scored above 50% marks in Matriculation or Equivalent and above 65% marks in the relevant ITI trade recognized by National / State Council for Vocational Training (NCVT/ SCVT)

• Candidates should have completed 14 years and below 21 years of age as on 01 April 2022
Salary :-
• Stipend: Monthly Stipend as per prescribed rates will be paid as per extant government rules and regulations. (Presently, Rs 7700/- per month for one year ITI certificate holder and Rs 8050/- per month for two year ITI certificate holder).
