Brief Information :– Kochi Metro Rail Recruitment 2021 – Kochi Metro Rail Limited invites online application form from the eligible candidates for the post of Terminal Controller/Boat Master/Boat Operator of 09 vacancies. Candidates with the qualification of B.Tech/ Diploma/ ITI 12th are eligible to apply for this job. The selection will be based on the interview. Kochi Water Metro Project – is an integrated Water Transport System that was envisaged with the objective of connecting the mainland with the islands, around the Kochi lagoon, through Modern Water Transport system. The primary aim is improving connectivity of people and thereby improving their livelihood and standard of living. The project is conceived as an environmental friendly, modern urban transport system with 15 identified routes over 76 km of route length. As per the Project Report, (being funded by KfW, Germany and Govt. of Kerala), on completion, with a fleet of 78 boats and 38 terminals, Kochi Water Metro Project would be the second largest water transport system next to only Venice.

- Terminal Controller – 20 Posts
- Boat Operator- 15 Posts
- Boat Master – 15 Posts
Qualification / Experience :-
Terminal Controller:
- Diploma/B.Tech in any Technical Field. Experience: Minimum 3(THREE) years of experience in Boat/Ships/Shipyard.
Boat Master:
- Second Class Master Certificate (In compliance with KIV rules). 10 +2 OR 10 + ITI. Minimum 5 years’ experience in sea or inland vessels out of which atleast 2 years as Boat Master
Boat Operator:
- Second Class Engine Driver & Serang Certificate (In compliance with KIV rules). 10 +2 OR 10 + ITI. Minimum 2 years as Boat Engineer / Operator in sea or inland vessels.
Age Limit (as on 01st November2021) :-
- 45 years
- Age Relaxation applicable as per reservation rules)
Salary :-
- Terminal Controller – Rs. 35000/-
- Boat Operator – Rs. 35000/-
- Boat Master – Rs. 40000/-
Selection Process :-
- Selection will be based on Written Test/ Proficiency Test/ Practical Test/ Interview
