Brief Information :- BSF Recruitment 2021Online Applications Are Invited From Eligible And Interested Male and Female Indian Citizens For Filling Up The Under Mentioned Vacancies In Group-‘Ç’ Combatised (Non Gazetted-Non Ministerial) Posts In The Border Security Force, Engineering Set Up Through Online Mode Only For Vacancy Year 2020-21 : There are72 vacancies are to be filled for this posts. Interested candidates who are all completed 10th /ITI/ Diploma in their relevant field can apply through online on or before 29 December 2021. The detailed eligibility and selection process are given below in detail.
Border Security Force, which would be armed and trained to man the International Border with Pakistan. As a result of the recommendations of the Committee of Secretaries, the Border Security Force came into existence on 01st Dec 1965, with Shri K F Rustamji as the first chief and founding father. Initially in 1965, BSF was raised with 25 Bns and with the passage of time, was expanded as per the requirement of nation to fight against militancy in Punjab, J&K, North east region etc. At present BSF is holding 192 (including 03 NDRF) Bns and 07 BSF Arty Regiments guarding International Border with Pakistan and Bangladesh. In addition, BSF is also performing Anti-Infiltration role in Kashmir Valley, Counter Insurgency in North East region, Anti Naxal Operations in Odisha and Chhattisgarh states and security of Integrated Check Posts along Pakistan and Bangladesh International Border.

Qualification :-
ASI (Draftsman Grade-III):
- Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
- Diploma course in Draftsmanship (Civil) from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognized University or Institution.
Desirable
- Diploma in civil Engineering
HC (Carpenter):
- Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Carpenter or three years experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.
HC (Plumber):
- Matriculation pass or its equivalent with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the trade of Plumber or three years experience in the respective trade from reputed firm.
Constable (Sewerman):
- Matriculation pass or its equivalent with experience in maintenance of sewerage subject to qualifying proficiency test in the trade.
Constable (Generator Operator):
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade (e. Electrician or Wireman or Diesel /Motor Mechanic) from a recognized institute and three years experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
Constable (Generator Mechanic):
- Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Diesel/Motor Mechanic from a recognized institute and three years experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government.
Constable (Linemen):
- Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute Certificate from a recognized institute in the trade of Electrical wireman or Lineman and three years experience in the respective trade from a firm recognized by the Central or State Government
Experience :- Freshers.
Age Limit :-
- Between 18 to 25 years as on the closing date of receipt of online applications.
Salary :-
ASI (Draftsman Grade-III): Pay matrix level-5 (Rs.29,200-92,300) as per 7th CPC.
HC (Carpenter)/ HC (Plumber): Pay matrix level – 4 (Rs.25,500-81,100) as per 7th CPC.
Constable (Sewerman)/ Constable (Generator Operator)/ Constable (Generator Mechanic) – 28
Constable (Linemen): Pay matrix level-3 (Rs.21700-69,100/-) as per 7th CPC.

Selection Process :-
- Written Examination For The Post Of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Draftsman Grade-III)
- 1st phase of examination i.e Written Exam will be conducted at the Examination Centres. There will be one composite paper for two hours duration. Question papers will be Objective Type with multiple choices on OMR based answer sheet and shall be consisting of the following subjects

- 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as examination fee through following payment modes
- Net banking of any bank / Credit/Debit Card of any bank. / Nearest authorised Common Service Centre
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, BSF serving personnel and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee.
How to Apply :- The Application By The Candidates Must Be Submitted Through ONLINE Mode Only. No Other Mode For Submission Of Application Will Be Accepted. The Facility for Submission of Online Application Will Be Opened on BSF website https://rectt.bsf.gov.in w.e.f 15/11/2021 at 00:01 AM and will be closed on 29/12/2021 at 11:59 PM.
